John E. Schipper

John joined Conestoga Capital Advisors in July 2013 and became a Partner of the firm in 2018. John is a Research Analyst and Trader on the firm’s investment team, where his responsibilities include conducting fundamental research on existing portfolio companies and new investment ideas across all of the firm’s investment strategies. He also leads Conestoga’s internal AI and research-technology initiatives, developing tools and workflows that support and enhance the firm’s fundamental research process. Prior to joining the equity research team in 2020, John served as Conestoga’s Head Trader for over five years and continues to provide trading coverage for the firm. John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Haverford College and attended the London School of Economics and Political Science as part of his studies abroad. He holds the Series 65 License.
