Our stance coming into 2026 was that the combination of accelerating earnings growth, historically cheap valuation relative to Large Caps, and strong domestic economic tailwinds created an exciting outlook for Small Caps. That view proved prescient throughout the first half of 2026, as Small Caps outperformed each of the major Large Cap indices.
